Species Data
Our database of over 2.47 million digitised records has been built up over a period of 20 years and includes over 22,000 species across all major taxon groups. Every year we receive records from over 800 Cumbrian recorders, covering most invertebrates, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, invasive species, and more. Our data includes 236 datasets, including those from local natural history groups, individual recorders, local and national recording schemes, Cumbria Wildlife Trust, statutory bodies, and many other contributors.
Additional Species Data
Although we hold a vast number records, our data is not exhaustive and it does not include all species observations in Cumbria. Other local and national recording schemes, as well as the NBN Atlas, may include records that we do not have.
